merelyn on Gwen/Morgana thingathon week 2. I seem to be on a bit of a roll!!!
The marriage of King Arthur was all people were talking about at the village Morgana went to to buy some food, and she was tired of hearing about it.
The love of her life marrying the man she considered her brother, the thought of it made her sick.
For the next few days all she could think about was whether or not she should go to the wedding. She could use a spell to disguise herself, no one would ever know!
she would be able to see Gwen again. It had been so long. she could see her beautiful eyes, her even more beautiful smile (would she be smiling?) she would look mesmerising in her wedding dress with flowers in her hair........ Queen Guinevere!
But seeing her again would bring back all the feelings that she had been trying so hard to forget. Could she stand quietly by and watch her marry him? what if she were happy to be marrying Arthur, could she handle the fact that Gwen had moved on?
Morgana could go to Gwen before the wedding, try to talk her out of it, ask her to go with her back to the druids, they would welcome Gwen if Morgana introduced her......
-----
It had taken over a day to get back to Camelot, it looked beautiful from the hill opposite. flags flying, flowers everywhere, the sun shining.
Mordred had asked Morgana something but she didn't hear him, she was still in two minds about going in, but they had been standing there for hours and all of Camalot's bells had started to ring signaling the end of the wedding ceremony.
That was it, morgana thought, too late now.
Mordred looked at Morgana and saw her eyes start to gleam with tears, but she turned around and walked back to her horse so he couldn't see her crying. He silently followed her to his horse and vowed that day that Arthur and Guinevere would pay for this.
