2009 - highlights/fangirling/crushes
ordered alphabetically because i couldnt figure out how else to do it!
Demons -
yes, the show was a pile of crap, but i liked it because of Zoe Tapper playing Mina Harker! This Mina is a vampire with dracula's blood running through her veins, so she is meant to be a/the most powerful vampire, but she gives herself dialysis which stops her wanting blood and being all vampire like but also makes her blind! but to make up for that she has the power to see the past when she touches stuff!! of course her full potential was not used in the show. she only turned into a vampire twice and the series ended (for good) on Mina on top of a building bearing her fangs looking ready to kill!!
Hugh Jackman -
mainly just because he is awesome! He sings, he dances, he can be bad-arse, he's a family man and he just seems like a really nice guy! oh and of course he is Wolverine!
Katie McGrath -
My goodness she's lovely! she's beautiful, really nice in person, has a lovely irish accent!, she buys books like other women buy shoes! (MARRY ME!) what more could you possibly ask for? and of course Morgana is my fangirl obssession of the year!
Luna Lovegood's Lion head and skipping! -
I haven't read the books, but in the fims she's one of my favorite characters! she's extremely kooky and i like that!!
Merlin
This is one of my favorite shows at the minute and i've been quite obssessed with it this year. Season 2 may have treated my favorite character as no better that scene decoration (if she was lucky enough to be in an episode!) for most of the season, but it had some pretty great episodes and has definately stepped up from season 1. bring on season 3 i say!!
Miranda
This has to be the funniest show i have seen in a long time and even better, it's British!!! I haven't laughed so much ata show in ages and i wish the first season had been loger that 6 episodes. Miranda is a socially inept, 6 foot something tall joke shop owner with verbal diarrhea, who's mother is always trying to fix her up, but she is in love with one of her friends.
Morgana
Morgana is the best thing in Merlin. We all know what she ends up as and i find it interesting to find out how she gets there!! Not to mention the fact that i have a thing for dark/evil/dubious women!! She doesn't (really) play the damsel in distress and doesn't mind telling the King what she thinks. Season 3 had better actually have some Morgana in, especially after what happened at the end of this season!
Naomily
Skins season 3 was pretty good this year and the stand out for me is Naomi and emily
No.1 Ladies Detective Agency -
This is one of my favorite shows this year! There was no sex, no drugs, no violence. It was funny and well acted. My favorite character was Grace Makutsi, the secritary who was EXTREMELY proud of her 97% score at secretarial school. I hope they film more!
Taylor Kitsch
Why have i not seen this guy before he was in Wolverine? He's a rather hansome guy!! The only thing i have seen him in is wolverine and i think he was a pretty good choice for Gambit! still a shame they didnt give him his funky eyes, but hey! i still think he was great!

The film didnt get very good reviews, but i really enjoyed it! gotta love Gambit too!

'Demons'' version of Mina Harker was just fantastic, she was a wonderful and complex character and I would have loved to have seen what they'd have done next with her. I'd also love to see what different writers would have done with her (the very end of the Quincy episode sucked big time; she'd just killed her son and she was laughing about Gene Hunt's (can't remember his character's name) beer belly! But yeah; she was the only decent thing in this show!
Johnny and Julian do have a habit of casting actors from their old shows in their new ones, and as she's been in both Hex and Demons I'm holding out for her to be cast in Merlin at some point! In the meantime I'll be watching her in Survivors :D
I've only seen about ten minutes of Miranda and I really can't decide if I like it or not... I'll have to watch some more of it to make my mind up!

oh wouldn't it be great of she was in Merlin, even better if she was a badie/druid/something to do with morgause! she was the only reason i carried on watching demons coz really it wasn't good, the writing was awful!! :)
i think Miranda might be a marmite kind of show = u love it or u hate it!!
