Drabble

“What we watching?” Brittany asked as she sat next to Sam on the sofa, she tucked her legs underneath herself and leaned into his chest as he put his arm around her.
“Avatar” Sam answered pressing the play button on the remote.
“Mmhmm” Brittany hummed as she sucked her drink through a straw

“Oh! They’re smurf’s!” Brittany shouted excitedly. Sam frowned, he hated people calling the film ‘Dances with wolves with smurfs’ He’d hoped Brittany wouldn’t be one of them.
“They’re not smurf’s” he said grumpily
“No, they’re like, future space smurf’s” she looked up at him with a huge grin, he still looked glum. “We totally love smurf’s! Did you know they’re Dutch? My mum has a huge collection from when she was a kid. I totally have to buy her one of these for her collection”
He realised that his new girlfriend wasn’t being horrible about the film so smiled and squeezed her side as she settled back down to watch the rest of the film.

“Argh! They killed Santana!” Brittany sat up in horror
“What?”
“The hot chick with the aviators on! They killed her! Rubbish” Brittany said sadly flopping her head back down on Sam’s chest

As the credits rolled Brittany quickly moved to straddle Sam’s legs
“You enjoy it?”
“I did, smurf’s in space are cool” she grinned
Sam smiled up at her
“I totally want to learn the Na’vi language, then we can talk to each other at school and no one will understand us!” Brittany declared grinning
“Awesome” he said as he grabbed Brittany’s hips so they could get up
“Hey, I didn’t mean right now! I thought we could make out first” Brittany smiled sweetly.
Returning the smile all Sam could say was “cool”

Drabble

Brittany sat on the edge of the pool with her ankles crossed, swinging her legs in the water.

"Ready?" Sam shouted from the edge of the deep end

"Yup" Brittany nodded happily

Sam readied himself then did a front flip into the pool, Brittany cheered and clapped as he hit the water.

When he didn’t come up for air, she looked and could see him swimming towards her under the water and smiled to herself.

Sam leapt out of the water splashing Brittany. They both started laughing loudly

"That was awesome" Brittany laughed clapping again

"Of course!" Sam smiled and started flexing his pecs and lifted his arms out of the water to flex his biceps, water splashing off them as he did, Brittany giggled, he loved making her giggle

"You could totally be a superhero" she said

"Oh yeah? Superman?"

"No!" Brittany answered

"Oh!" Sam was somewhat deflated swimming up to Brittany and resting his hands on her knees

"Your hair colour's wrong" she says looking down at him and pushing his hair out of his eyes "you could be Angel!"

"The vampire?" Sam asked

“Ergh! No!" Brittany poked her tongue out in disgust "Angel the X-Man! He has beautiful wings and we could fly everywhere together, it'd be awesome"

He moved his hand to either side of Brittany’s legs and lifted himself out of the water so they were face to face "and I would always keep you out of harm’s way" he said smiling and leant in for a kiss.
