Summary: Ficlet set in the near future of my Stored-up Wishes series
Author's Note: Written for Gleeverse (yet again) challenge to write a ficlet with 137 words using every letter of the alphabet at least once. A new chapter will be coming soon!
Santana sat quietly watching Brittany and their daughter. They had decided to go to the zoo and Brittany was going through an animal book with their girl.
“What are we going to see, huh?”
“Kangaoooo” she said pointing at a picture in the book
“yeah and..?”
“Zebaaa”
“Yes those too, how about penguins?”
Their little bundle of joy jiggled on Brittany’s lap happily
“We are feeling very excited, aren’t you Santana?” Brittany said looking up at Santana and smiling like their daughter
“Yeah, I’m really quite excited as well, it’s going to be a great day out, you want to take a picnic too?”
“Shall we?” Brittany asked the little girl. She was too young to know what a picnic was but bounced up and down in excitement anyway. “Yeah, let’s have a picnic at the zoo”
