The thing with those covers with contorted women is that most of the time they really aren't that good!!

I admit some artist who draw women I do like but a lot of them can be gratuitous!!


(I think I did one a few years ago, but I am thinking of doing posts on different artists I like!)

Oh, I like women on covers too (very much so), but I'm really not interested in the butt-and-boobs pose (pretty sure you know what I'm talking about) :P

lets just say they are all a certain type of man!! all older single with a fair bit of money! we have a guy who has spent £120 on one issue!!!!! no that is not a typo!! grimm fairy tales are THE worst!!

I just started laughing uncontrollably at the second picture! Ohhh my laaawd! Yeah, that sure looks like a good comic! Yep yep! For pity's sake, you've got the internet for porn - why you need to have shittily drawn women like that? :P I don't get it.

i think it has a very good story that is very well written and that is actually why these pleasant gentlemen buy them............. or y'know.....not!!!

Man, I'm side-eyeing all comic book nerds who happen to be men. No joke. And unless they can show me that they actually don't have fucked-up, limited views of what they enjoy when it comes to comics and such, I'm gonna continue side-eyeing them.

not all of them are like it, not all of them will buy them, but most of them will look at them and not really have a problem with covers like that!! but then that's mens views on women in any form of media! :(

It's funny how if you present them with male superheroes posing the same way as the female superheroes usually do and with as little clothes on as the women, these guys will see a lot of problems with it! And not like it at all! Huuuhhhh, I wonder why that is ~

funnily enough a few months ago grimm firy tales had a cover with a male soldier on the front of it along with three other covers (for the same issue) with women on the front, guess which one was left of the shelf and the only one we still have in stock?

really i don't think the comic companies would ever bother doing it because they all know what would happen, after all most of the creators/artist/etc are all men any way!!!
